HAPPY FRIENDSHIP DAY class of '89 !

August 6 is International Friendship Day. It falls on the first Sunday of August every year. It is the time to remember your friends…and to wish them for what they mean to you.

For the MCC class of 89, it’s a special year having found longlost friends after ages...here's the chance to revive our friendship…to share and support…to laugh and even cry together…and to celebrate the sheer joy of our friendship!

I browsed through some quotes on friendship …but most were too mushy(!)…but this one I particularly liked…perhaps because i could relate to it ;)

A true friend is someone who thinks that you are a good egg even though he knows that you are slightly cracked. -- Bernard Meltzer.

HAPPY FRIENDSHIP DAY !!

Do remember to wish your friends on friendship day! You can leave your messages here as a new post or comments.

Our tribute to Sr.Patricia

An epitome of dignity and grace befitting (yet so very rarely seen) the head of an institution like Mount Carmel Convent with its century old-heritage – that is how I remember Sr.Patricia. She dedicated her services to this small school in a beautiful seaside hamlet in southern Kerala, guarding and nurturing it as a pearl from the sea. She combined religious piety, administrative skills and visionary zeal in an uncommon but perfect blend.

I am groping for words which might do some justice to the qualities embodied by Sr.Patricia. Let me resort to Byron’s poem ‘She walks in beauty’ (didn’t we learn it in school!)
SHE walks in beauty, like the night
Of cloudless climes and starry skies;
And all that's best of dark and bright
Meet in her aspect and her eyes:
………………………………….

And on that cheek, and o'er that brow,
So soft, so calm, yet eloquent,
The smiles that win, the tints that glow,
But tell of days in goodness spent,
A mind at peace with all below,
A heart whose love is innocent!

I was too overawed by Sr.Patricia that I could never muster the courage to have a conversation with her. Though I remember that I was touched when she came and told me that my mom was waiting outside while I was trying hard to crack the maths problems for the ICSE exam! Just goes to show how she could empathize with the anxiety of our parents. It was also encouraging to see her come and check on us while we were taking our crucial class final exams. She used to be concerned too if we stayed back late after school. That’s where the motherliness in her came through although she looked firm and poised especially during the morning assembly. It was an honor to be applauded by her and also a challenge as she gave it only where it was due. Perhaps that made her word of praise a memorable one for the receiver.

I have never seen her in a rage although I have seen her angry. Her face flushed and her otherwise rosy cheeks would almost turn red. She was firm and straight in her talk and she knew how to handle the not –so – rule abiding teenagers in the school with a rare calm and understanding! We would know for certain of the impending trouble if she announced in her peculiar graceful tone (she had a lovely voice!) that a particular class should wait back after the morning assembly! I also remember that she would not use the mike to give her "sternest sermons" to avoid embarrassment to us!

She was strict and set forth the rules without fear or favor and the best thing was that she guided by her own example. She never seemed to falter and that was so admiring about her. I do have my perspective (perhaps a little critical and unconventional!) about the convent school regimen but I realize that perhaps that was the way she thought best to control the 5000 odd students of the school. No joke to run a school that was even a residential one with no scandals or scams to speak of! She is an icon of the old school authority with a rare benignity which is difficult to find in the post-modern age. Looking back, if we should fondly remember the school, it is also because it reflects a life of dedicated service that Sr.Patricia has left behind. She has become synonymous with the history of Mount Carmel. It will not be an exaggeration to say:

Think of Mount Carmel
Think of Sr.Patricia

I would like to recall the song that we sang for her feast when we were in Class X. Incidentally, it was composed and set to music by Mrs Cabbot. It remains our final tribute to her.I have forgotten the first few verses but I remember the chorus:
“ And though in future we’re far apart
We’ll hold this love we have for you
Deep in our hearts
We’ll remember you”

I sincerely wish she were around because I would have loved to have a chat and a cup of coffee with her. I would have been brave enough to discuss with her my views, disillusionments and apprehensions about the education scenario and would have longed to have her take on things.
Sr.Patricia I do believe that you continue to guide us as we go about our duties with the responsibility and dignity that you have set forth as an example.

PS. I would like to add that I know I have not been able to sum up the entire personality of Sr.Patricia in this post. I am sure some of you would have more personal memories to share. Please add you comments or posts on your personal tributes and memories of Sr.Patricia.if you have a better foto of Sr. Patricia do upload it or send it to us.Thanks! sabina

Remembering TARGET in an MTV age!

How many of you remember the magazine TARGET- a favourite during our MCC days? Most of us subscribed to it and the magazines arrived by post to the classrooms. I remember the excitement at the sight of the usually colourful coverpage. Many of us would sneak it inside the textbooks to check the latest with Detective Moochwala! Although there were other popular Indian publications like Tinkle and Amar Chitra Katha (most of which I borrowed from Arthy – do you still have those neat bound ones ?i loved them!) I think what set TARGET apart from the rest was that it provided wholesome reading—there were stories, comic strips, poetry contests and had a truly Indian flavor about it.And yeah, they did have some of the big names writing and illustrating for them (Manjula Padmanabhan,Ruskin Bond and so on).

Sad to say Target had a premature death (despite being a less celebrated sibling of India Today from the same publishing house)in the Indian print world although I wonder why it should have vanished when a lot of mediocre children's magazines have survived. I understand that the publications was aiming at a much larger crowd and hence decided to do away with Target. Pity! It might be a preposterous suggestion though to resurrect Target in this MTV age !! I happened to remember ‘Target’ recently when I was helping out some students in making an online magazine. I couldn’t show them a copy although I might find some back issues (if I’m lucky!)when I go home and rummage through old bookshelves.

I googled though and came across this wikipedia entry.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Target_%28magazine%29

I would also like to mention that Jyoti Nair (class of 88) won a prize in a poetry contest conducted by Target and it was also published in Target. Remarkable indeed and I remember Sr.Patricia inviting her to read it at a morning assembly. Was inspiring for us although I could never come up with anything remotely “poetic” (despite best efforts!)during my school days!!

The Big Tangy Bash!

Dear Friends,

We, the former students

of Infant Jesus Anglo-Indian

Higher Secondary School (“IJHSS”), are planning a

first-ever large alumni reunion, of all batches, at the

School, in Tangasseri, to celebrate what is to be called

The Big Tangy Bash! This grand one-day event is

planned be held on 29th December 2007.

Old Boys of every IJHSS batch since the School’s inception are expected to arrive

from all over the world to participate. Former students of our sister school Mount

Carmel Convent are also invited to this event. We eagerly look forward to the

pleasure of your company, with family, to make this occasion festive, momentous

and memorable.

As part of various events being planned for this reunion day, we also intend to

invite and honour some of our teachers, past and present, as well as certain Old

Boys who became accomplished and prominent members of society, who are a

source of particular pride to the school and to all of us.

Ideas suggested for The Big Tangy Bash! that were circulated among some IJHSS

alumni forums and Old Boy networks resulted in instant and overwhelming

excitement, besides global interest from many generations of former students.

Most Old Boys who have already heard about it have fully endorsed it and promised

to be in Tangasseri at any cost on 29th December! Meanwhile, teachers, past and

present, as well as the IJHSS management have displayed their enthusiasm and

support for holding this elaborate event.

H. E. Rt. Rev. Dr. Stanley Roman, The Bishop of Kollam, has kindly granted

permission to conduct the event at the IJHSS premises. School authorities have

wholeheartedly promised to offer the School premises as well as provide

other amenities for the event.

His Excellency The Bishop of Kollam also unveiled and blessed the Event

Logo at a private meeting, with a delegation of Old Boys, at the Bishop’s Palace

on 23rd February 2007 (pictured above). The Big Tangy Bash! is to be handled by

Kerala Travels Interserve Ltd (“KTIL”), a professional event management firm.

Costs are expected to be shared by all participants on a charge-per-head basis,

which could be subsidized to some extent by Event Sponsors (individuals and

corporate entities) that may donate voluntarily.

(From the IJHS alumni website)
www.infantjesustangasseri.com

There’s an invite to MCC too…do make it a point to attend if you can...i'm sure
it's going to a memorable event merging generations...they have been making
tremendous efforts to organize alumni from all the batches…Great work...
Good luck IJHS alumni association! Let's also think of organizing a mega event
like this!

TANGY

Outside one of the bunglows which caught our attention in Tangy. That bunglow used to give us a scary feeling each time we passed by it. So we named it the "haunted house".That's Roshni, Raji & Shajila with me. We used to enjoy walking down the streets of Tangy each Saturday after attending Ms. Delphin's Physics tutions. It was so much fun walking leisurely till the bus stop. Not to forget the occasional stop over at the "Matha Stores" for our favorite drink of ice cream soda. Of late, no one seems to know what kind of drink it is. To those who have never tasted it.........guys you have indeed missed something real good.

BACK TO MCC

Indu & Subeen, caught on camera before they could get out of their "characters". Indu, you are too beautiful to be a witch. If you guys remember, this is at the corridor outside Sr. Patricia's office.

BACK TO MCC

Though I bid adieu to MCC after my 10th, I used to visit it quite frequently as many of my friends still continued their studies there in the +2. I used to be their guest at every school function. This picture was taken at one of those functions. Linet was one among the witches in the drama they enacted in. Seeing her here in all these pictures make me miss her all the more. At the same time, I also want her to be a part of our blog.
Arthy

FAREWELL PARTY

That's Ceena with me. I used to envy her very much at that time. She was one of the girls with the most beautiful tresses. Seeing hers, I used to crave for such lovely, black, shiny hair.
Arthy

FAREWELL PARTY

Enjoying the finale of the party. That's Deepa, Indu and Sheena.

FAREWELL PARTY

Linet receiving her much deserved prize from Sr. Patricia, our beloved principal ( we couldn't ask for a better person) for her wonderful performance on stage that day. Padma waiting for her turn to receive one too.

JUNIORS

Our lovely juniors entertaining us with their most charming voices. Though they were our juniors, the rapport we had with them was way apart. In the years we spent together, they turned out to be very good friends to us, than mere juniors. Thanks a lot girls. We truly enjoyed your company.
Arthy

FAREWELL PARTY

While we too were going through a very diffcult time, our dear friends were enjoying those moments to the fullest.
That's Meera, Icy, Alice, Anne & Roweena. How can I ever forget these lovely moments!!!!
Arthy

FAREWELL PARTY

I too was one among the (lucky or is it unlucky) ones who were caught with that parcel. I was asked to choose a partner from among my friends and perform a dance number with her. It was such an embarressing moment and I pulled out Shirani from the lot to share that embarressment with me.

Arthy

FAREWELL PARTY

That's Linet giving a wonderful performance on stage. For the game, she was asked to recite the age old nursery rhyme"Twinkle Twinkle Little Star" just as a kid would. Her performance was indeed worth a million accolades.
Arthy

FAREWELL PARTY

That was during a round of "Passing the parcel" at the farewell party. Just look at all our faces. Those who had just finished passing it were relieved that they had escaped being caught with it and those who are waiting for their turn seem to be so tensed. I don't think we were so very tensed even before our ICSE exams.
Arthy

FAREWELL PARTY

You got to tell me as to how many of you got them right!!!! That's Shirani, Priya, Jabeela, Raji ,Teena & Padma.
Arthy

ps.thanks sibyl (classof 90) for sending this foto (on the right) from her album to add it to our blog...very thoughtful of you. sabina

FAREWELL PARTY

Some of our lovely juniors in conversation with my friends outside the hall which was the venue of our farewell party. Wondering who these lovely ladies are!!! Take a guess and check out if you were right in the next snap. No cheating.....

AN ANTIQUE PIECE

Sabi, just as you said, I've indeed come up with an antique snap. Shall we put it up for auction? This is one of the best classrooms in the whole of MCC. ......the first classroom on the 1st floor of the new building. Each & every 10th batch would just long to have this as their classroom and so did we. Whenever I see this snap, I find a striking resemblance between Teena & Michael Jackson. But nobody seems to agree with me. That's Shirani next to her. The rest of them ....Jabeela, Priya, Jayalakshmi & Deepa.
(from Arthy's album)

Hold your light on high!

An important attraction of Tangasseri is the lighthouse, built in 1902. The 144 ft. lighthouse stands as a sentinel, warning seamen of the treacherous reefs of Tangasseri.Incidentally, it is the same lighthouse that goes as the emblem of Mount Carmel School with the beautiful and inspiring motto "Hold your light on high"!

The view from atop the lighthouse is absolutely amazing- the vast stretch of sea with the waves lashing against the rocks.
I could even spot some of the landmarks of Kollam town from there. But do hold tight on the railings of the balcony because it is usually very windy up there. I got a chance to go there a year ago when I took my husband on a walking marathon to see my school and the quaint town of Tangasseri. Do visit the lighthouse anytime you go to Kollam. It is now open to the public but remember to go in the evening between 3pm and 5pm if you want to go up to the balcony for an aerial view. It is disappointing though that photography is not allowed inside the lighthouse premises (try sneaking in your camera or lucky if you have a good camera phone
) ;)

A school amidst History

I wonder how many of us have smelt the history of bygone times in the “Tangy air” when we were in school. Did you hear the sounds of the marching beats of the English, the Portugese, or the Dutch? As you stared into the rocky sea from your classroom window, did you imagine how the traders from yonder lands had landed on the tangy coast?

Well, history points out that Tangasseri was once a favourite settlement of the Portuguese, the Dutch and the English in succession. Today, it showcases a few ruined forts built by the Portuguese, and the Dutch and some 18th century churches. I hear that what remains of the 16 th century fort (seen in the pic)built by the Portugese maybe less that a quarter of what actually existed almost 30 years ago. Although believed to be protected by the Archeological Survey of India, these relics are now at the mercy of encroachers and vandals.Apparently there used to be two cemeteries too in the vicinity of the fort, one belonging to the Dutch and other to the Portuguese. It is indeed a matter of shame that the tangy fort that has stood the test of centuries should be left to this ignominy.

Save the Tangy fort!

sabina

Tangasseri – a blast from the past !

It maybe a quirk of history that Mount Carmel Convent School, by virtue of its location in Tangasseri, has witnessed and survived the major changes in the political history of Kollam. It is perhaps this positioning of the school that has added that “unique touch” to the carmelites - the spirit of adaptability and survival !Not to forget the old world charm when you remember your school days. Colonial bungalows, cosmopolitan attitude and an unusual blending of Portuguese, Dutch and British culture, architecture and life style is perhaps what gives a quaint flavour to the "sea side hamlet" of Tangy.

Click on
http://www.geocities.com/athens/acropolis/9669/tangy.htm
and get set on a historical walk through Tangasseri, tracing the history of this multi-cultural settlement since the days of the European advent on this eastern coast. I’m sure you will recognize (click on the fotos)some of the beautiful houses along the streets of Tangasseri. This webpage belongs to Mr. Joseph Fernandez who is also the author of the book on Tangasseri called ‘Glimpses of Tangasseri - A 500 Year Legacy’.He writes, “By any stretch of imagination, the Malabar coast is a breathtaking span of scenery. Pampered coconut groves jostle for space with red tiled villas. Its native Malayalam, with its singsong intonations, measures out its richness in expressions as golden as the sands that border it. While Life itself swishes onto its verdant shores with the lazy splash of waves. Give or take a turbulent history, that is pretty much the Good Life, as it is known in God’s own country…over the centuries, these changes in India have reflected themselves in the story of a picturesque little settlement at the southern tip of the Kollam coast (modern day Quilon). Here, beyond the ruins of a large crumbling fort, was born a treasure-trove of a Malabar legacy: Tangasseri. A thriving gold trade once existed here. Not to mention, rivetting legends of buried treasure. But this was only one of Tangaserri's timeless secrets…”

Carmelites blogging bigtime !!

Great to see more amd more MCC batches starting their blogs...here are a few new ones:

1.Mount Carmel United :)

This is a blog created by the MCC batch of '92. In their own words… I quote Merina (batch of '92)“Our very own space, where, we whilst taking a trip down memory lane, take time out to also help friends in need, shud we need each other sometime...rave, rage, rant, share smiles and laughter...and the tears as well...In our own way we have made our Alma Mater proud..let it not stop here...We were a unit then, we still are now and we are a force to reckon with .. ;) Lets do it right...”
....MCC girls Unite!!!!

Here’s the link http://mccgirls92.blogspot.com/
They also have a community on Orkut called : Summer of '92 (MCC Girls) :)

2. www.mccbatch1990.blogspot.com

This is from the batch of 1990. Rosetta (class of '90)says,"After a long silence now some of us have at least come in touch with each other , thanks to orkut and also to all our seniors who have inspired us to start this blog ...try and link as many of our batch mates as possible thank you ."

Some do’s and dont’s about this blog!

This is meant to be an online personal journal. I believe it is owned by the class of ‘89. At the moment Arthy and myself are co-ordinating it (coz presently we seem to have some time at our disposal for this “nostalgia project”!). We do wish others would step forward to get actively involved in this.

A few do and dont’s about mccclassof89blog:

These are a few useful hints for anyone involved with this blog to ensure easy and fun blogging!

1.Anyone from the class of ‘89 can add posts/fotos directly by logging in using the user id and password (the user id and password have been mailed to all whose email addresses were available ).Those from the class of ’89 who wish to add new posts and do not have the password may mail one of us for the password or send the posts to one of us to be published.

2.Anyone outside the class of ’89 can add comments. Of course, your posts are welcome and you can send it to anyone from the class of 89. We do wish to keep the password among us to avoid the hassle of spams and junk mails.

3.If you find any reference made about you in this blog to be offensive, then you can
(a) inform the person who has posted it
(b) inform the co-ordinators of the blog
(c) if (a) &(b) fails, then the easiest way would be to go ahead and edit the post ! (would appreciate if you could inform the co-ordinators before you actually delete the post)

4.If you do not wish your fotos to be displayed on the blog or find them defamatory, then you can
(a)inform the person who has posted it
(b)inform the co-ordinators of the blog
(c) if (a) & (b) fails, then the easiest way is to go ahead and edit the post ! (would appreciate if you could inform the co-ordinators before you actually delete the post)

5. If at any point the class of '89 finds that such a blog is irrelevant, defamatory or detrimental to their professional/personal life (!), then please inform the co-ordinators and we can think about disbanding /cancelling the blog at that point.

Thanks and regards,
Sabina(for the class of '89)
Ps. Hope we do not lose out on the fun of blogging by being overcautious about what we write ...however the idea is to be tolerant towards another person's feelings...therefore the do's and dont's ...will be helpful i guess to even redefine our friendships and relate to each other better when meeting after a span of almost two decades! happy blogging !!

Class profiles (friends of '89)-- INDU

Her spontaneity definitely needs to be appreciated. She was just too good in moulding her imaginations and bringing it down on paper. I very well remember Ms.Yula reading out her compositions to the whole class and we used to listen to them with breathless silence as to how beautifully she had crafted them all. She was the pride of every teacher.
Arthy

GEETHA & SHAJILA

Geetha will always be remembered as my "twin sister". Though it still amuses me as to how we could be mistaken for one another by many of our teachers. Shaji, always pleasant faced and a gifted artist as well. I still treasure a book mark which she gave me. She had sketched some lovely pictures in it.
Arthy

FRIGHTFUL WALK

A walk across the Malampuzha dam. I was just holding my breath while walking along this hanging bridge for the fear that it might give way. I had that fear because the last that I remember visiting this place was with my family while I was a kid. At that time my brother-in-law was walking behind me and he was purposely giving it a shake so as to scare us. So while walking down the bridge with my friends, I was reminded of that and it made me all the more scared.
Arthy

JABEELA & RAJI

This picture was taken in the wee hours of the morning. It was a college in Palaghat, where we halted for a night during our excursion.

TOGETHERNESS

Glimpses of some more of our happy times together. That's Raji & Padma with me. Ascending the steps of success......Raji pursued a career as a teacher while Padma is a doctor. As for me, I opted for a more complicated and a full time job.....that of a home maker. ; -)

3 CHEERS TO FROOTI

Isn't it wonderful to see that "Frooti" too has survived all these years and still remains a favorite drink of all, irrespective of their age. Don't miss out on Ms.Cabbot & Ms.Prestina on the back drop.

MORE OF OUR EXCURSION SNAPS

I know going through these pictures can make us feel low. At least we can take this as a way to have Linet with us once again.

LINET, WE MISS YOU!

Linet.....Remembering a dear friend of almost anyone who knows her. She'll be always remembered for her exuberance, simplicity, modesty, cheerfulness, and above all a person who was loved by one and all. Though she's no more with us, the fond memories that we have of her will never die. We miss you dearly.
Arthy

Remembering Linet – “Let me be there!”

It was shocking to hear about Linet’s untimely demise. I still feel guilty that I got to know about it much too late coz I was not in touch with schoolfriends!!

Linet and I were in the same class. Although I liked her, we did not get a chance to be close friends. But I do have a few memories of Linet. I admired her for being very neat in her appearance. I know this might sound funny but I was so fascinated when she told me how she had got her hair straightened (the natural curls she had)after a trip to Bahrain when such things were not much heard of! She was one of the stars of the Blue House…be it song, dance, drama Linet was there on stage. She had a beautiful voice. I distinctly remember once Ms. Delphin asked one of us to sing a song to enliven the class after a tedious session of physics. And Linet went up to sing. I should say, she was never reluctant to do that and we had always recognized her as the “ singing star of our class.” So anytime there was a request for a song we would simply shout “Linet, Linet”!! She sang, “Let me be there in your morning, let me be there in your night time, All I ask you is let me be there…" We had a cheeky look and grin and made sure that Linet also smiled and blushed while singing …and when she finished Ms.Delphin summed it up well” for those of you who think it is a love song yes it is… but it is for the Holy Spirit!”

I can almost hear it now! "let me be there in your morning..."Yes Linet you are with us, you will always be…

I’m sure all of you have many more colorful memories of our dear Linet…do share it here…sabina

What’s the password?

Class of 89…a request… do keep the password (of the blog) within our group. Doesn’t that sound like the Enid Blytons which we used to literally feed on during our MCC days?…how we used to exchange the books and even fight for them…the Secret Seven, Famous Five…and I remember our group of friends even posing as the characters!!

Well on a more serious note, we are ensuring against the flood of irrelevant or obscene posts, spamming and so on. Let us try and keep this blog as our personal online journal.

Of course others outside the batch of 89 can post comments (coz it does not require logging in with our id & password) and if they want to add new posts they can send it to one of us.Simple !

thanks,sabina

A NIGHT TO REMEMBER

This picture was taken at my place just a few minutes before we were to leave for school to attend our farewell party. It was a night to remember............a night which started with fun, laughter, happiness and excitement....but when it was time for all of us to part ways, it just ended up in despair, sadness and tears. Each and every incident of that night still remains fresh in my memories.

Hey guys! I also feel that I need to say a few words about Indu. She had joined us in MCC in the 6th. At that time, she was not familiar with the Hindi and Malayalam letters. Instead of opting for special English, she decided to go ahead with both these languages. I must really appreciate the determination she had even at that age to come up successfully in whatever she does. In the following years, she became one of the most loved students in MCC.

EXCURSION SNAPS, 89

I

I think this picture too was taken at Vazhachal. I get irritated quite often when my kids splash water and enjoy that. If we at 15+ could do that and find amusement in it.............then why not they??

EXCURSION SNAPS, 1989

This picture was taken at Vazhachal, one of the places we visited during out tour in the 10th. You guys were the pillars of strength for me. I now wonder how I moved on in life without your support. I always have this question in mind as to how we lost touch with one another?

CLASS 7...........1986

The only class photo I have in my collection. Though I've gone through this picture a lot many times before, it's only now that it dawned upon me that I have a son who's doing his 7th. This picture was taken when I was his age and it's really unbelievable that so many years have passed by and it all looks like yesterday. That was Sr. Helen, our class teacher for that year. The only thing that I remember about her is that she was our Science teacher and that she always used to mistake Geetha for me and me for Geetha. I don't know if you guys remember that we were called "twins" while at school. Though we didn't find any striking resemblance between us, we very much enjoyed when others felt it that way. There are so many sweet memories associated with school life. I'm sure you will all agree with me if I had to say that our school life was the best phase of our life. The only responsibilty we had then was to study and be a good student. The rest of the work was done by our school and its faculty, doing all they could to mould us into perfect human beings. How can we ever forget the values that were inculcated in us, all through our school years?? This blog has formed a perfect platform for us to express our gratitude to all those who were responsible for moulding us.
Arthy.

Those were the days...a visual journey!

Do you remember those days in MCC... navy blue overalls and pigtails or braids as long as you had a bit of a black ribbon sticking out…the luckier ones had it short and sweet though…???

Check out how many faces you remember …or better still identify yourself !! And if you come forward, you get a cookie (at our reunion- promise!).

Many many thanks are due to Arthy for having made the effort to upload them on Orkut from her personal collection ...and for having given the permission to be uploaded here.

Now friends…please rummage through your cupboards and suitcases (and know not where all ?!) and bring out some of those fotos from school…please…and let’s display them here...straight from the archives...never mind if they are partly moth-eaten or ink stained …makes it more authentic and antique…and someday we can auction it for a neat price:)
